Why is coaching important?

Coaching is action-orientation compared with that of more therapeutic, analysis-based therapy. Therapy focuses on finding what’s making a person dysfunctional; coaching focuses on maximizing a person’s potential.

In coaching you are seen as a whole, capable, and creative person. When you pause long enough to listen to yourself and listen well to how you perceive and interpret situations and relationships, you can act—consciously.

How does coaching work?

Through the coach-client interaction, there’s an opportunity for you to get that awareness and clarity, so that you can choose consciously in a way that aligns with what’s true about you, rather than what someone else thinks is true.
