The City of Ramona has a wonderful library with a fast internet connection, where I can pursue any of my passions. Passion is my third priority for a life lived well and long. My current passions include learning Spanish for my up coming volunteer work in the Dominican Republic.
All I had to do was mention it to the information desk attendant here, and before I knew it, I had a local membership card, a Complete Idiot’s Guide to Learning Spanish, a Spanish children’s book, and a high speed internet connection, so I could pursue my other passions.
And next door is one of the many Mexican restaurants where I can both practice my Spanish and get what I need for a delicious lunch well within the requirements of my nutrition program. I know exactly what to order now:
Plato de carne con verduras y frijoles refritos sin tortillas
Beef plate with vegeables and refried beans without tortillas.
